Luís Lage is an architect and holds a PhD in Survey, Analysis and Representation of Architecture and Environment from La Sapienza University, in Rome. He has a vast body of work as an architect, having published several books and articles in specialized magazines. He has also participated in several international seminars and conferences, as well as in several research projects over the last 35 years. He served as Director of the Faculty of Architecture and Physical Planning at Eduardo Mondlane University, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. He recently founded Kaya Clínica, a university extension project at Eduardo Mondlane University, and since then he has been the director and coordinator of the work carried out in the George Demitrov neighborhood of Maputo.
