Paulo Moreira is an architect, with a Masters degree in Arts (with distinction), from the London Metropolitan University, and a PhD in Architecture, from the same institution. In 2011, he founded the 'Paulo Moreira Architectures' studio, where he develops architectural and research projects, especially in the rehabilitation of buildings and in contexts of urban conflict and social segregation. He is co-coordinator of the Observatório da Chicala, a research project based at the Department of Architecture of the Agostinho Neto University, in Luanda. His works have been featured in conferences, publications and international exhibitions. He was distinguished with several awards, including the Távora Award, in 2012.
